Benefits of a GM Protection Plan

GM Protection Plans Help Keep You Covered

You love your vehicle. You took it on the perfect test drive to ensure it fit your lifestyle. You keep up with routine maintenance and seasonal inspections to make sure it keeps you safe on the road and runs smoothly. But what if an unexpected repair comes up? Do you have the protection you need to repair your vehicle? It could save you money, time and aggravation if an unforeseen problem pops up.

Protect your investment

Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac Protection Plans1 are vehicle service contracts that provide coverage for covered repairs and maintenance on top of the manufacturer’s limited warranty.2 Plans are backed by GM and offered on new, pre-owned and leased Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac models, including EVs.

Customize your coverage

With multiple plans to choose from, you can select the coverage option that’s right for you. Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac Protection Plans cover up to 1,500 parts and components on your vehicle. You can also tailor the length of your plan, with terms for up to eight years or 100,000 miles. With expensive items like water pumps, power window motors and transmissions covered, you’ll be cruising for years to come without dipping into your emergency fund.3

Enjoy built-in benefits

Your protection plan also comes with extra benefits like roadside assistance, towing and rental car reimbursement. It even includes trip interruption reimbursement if you need to take your vehicle to the shop when you’re away from home.4

Transfer protection

If you decide to sell your vehicle, your Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac Protection Plan can be transferred to the next owner, which could make your vehicle an attractive option for buyers.5

With a protection plan in place, you’ll be safeguarding against potentially costly covered repairs. Get details and pricing information by contacting your dealer, and make sure you ask for Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac Protection Plans by name to get long-term coverage for continued peace of mind from the brands you trust.
